OUR MISSION
Sound Source Creative is a community organization that focuses on nurturing the talents of at-risk school-age children, young adults, and adults between the ages of 3 and 25 in music, arts, and fashion. Our programs offer hands-on experience in real-world situations that are essential for a creator's growth. We have a variety of programs and community projects that are specifically designed for creators. SSC is a new way to shape the present and future of music, arts, and fashion in Northeast Ohio

In our programs, students can experience improvements in their academic performance, especially in STEM areas. By fostering self-discipline, concentration, and resilience, involvement in the arts also helps tackle chronic absenteeism, keeping students engaged in their learning and equipping them with essential life skills.

The creative industries offer incredible opportunities for young people, but many encounter obstacles in chasing these paths. At SSC, we connect youth with mentors, hands-on learning experiences, and career exploration activities that clarify creative careers. Through events like our Media Lab Day, where youth can explore areas such as beat making, audio engineering in the studio, playing instruments, and DJing, they gain insights, mentorship, and practical tools to turn their passions into real career opportunities.
